The Kingsmen made their debut 1966 Memorial Day weekend and took first places at Baltimore, Lancaster, Wilmington and Vestal. The plan 30 competitive appearances in 1966.

- Well as you can tell, my life was enrich with Drum Corps.I started as a cadet in the Sea Battlion,then turn Midshipmen and then turn Knickerbockers. Those are indeed fond memories. All young kids should experience this in there life time. Specail thanks goes out to my sister Jeanne (Williams)Lopez who introduce me to the Sea Battlion in Sept. of 1962.
